Privacy policy

This policy covers southlondonmoleclinic.ca. Personal health information held by the clinic as part of your care is governed separately under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) — ask at reception for the clinic’s patient privacy policy.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this site, we collect the name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method and message you choose to give us, along with the page you sent it from and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived on.

Please do not send medical or health details through the form. A web form is not a secure channel. Bring anything clinical to your appointment or discuss it by phone.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry and arrange an appointment. Nothing more, unless you have separately given express consent to receive clinic news by email.

Marketing email

Under Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), we send marketing email only to people who have ticked the consent box themselves. It is never pre-ticked. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your care.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and to meet the clinic’s record-keeping obligations, then deleted.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except service providers who host this website and its database on our behalf, and only so far as they need to provide that service. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies. Any analytics in use are limited to understanding which pages are read, and your browser’s Do Not Track setting is respected where supported.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to info@southlondonmoleclinic.ca or call (519) 800-4518.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario for matters involving personal health information.
